Clinical Supervision

I have a Diploma in Clinical Supervision from the Leeds Centre for Psychological Development.

I am open to working with counsellors from various modalities as would seek to understand your individual approach to counselling. I also have experience as a Lecturer in Counselling at Leeds Beckett University, having taught many counselling trainees since 2021.

My job as a supervisor is to uphold the counselling profession; I do this by working with the therapist to monitor client safety and wellbeing and creating a facilitative and nurturing environment in which we can explore together the therapeutic relationships between you and your clients, and reflect on the unconscious processes which can emerge between them.

Also in the process of supervision, I would support and encourage the supervisee to become aware of any internal responses that may help enhance their personal and professional development.

Supervision can be offered face-to-face in Pontefract or online.

Fees:

Initial 30-minute consultation: £30

60 minute appointment: £65

90 minute appointment: £85

For trainee counsellors I offer 60 minute appointments fortnightly for £55 per session.
